From Russia.~Enlisted March 22, 1862 at Industry Texas by Bader(?) and~was mustered into service in Houston on April 4, 1862 by CAPT Drake.~Died July 13, 1864 - NOT TRUE per family - he was paroled March 4 or 5, 1865~Captured at Yazoo City on July 14, 1863.~Received at Camp Morton on Aug 14, 1863 after 2 weeks at Gratiot Street Prison in St. Louis.~Transferred for Exchange March 4 1865.
