Born Joyce Ellen Hold on July 15, 1927, to Edwin & Lily Hold in Nelsonville, TX.
Grew up in Belville Tx., hanging out with maternal relatives, the Bravenec clan. After WW II, she married Ed Koester & moved to San Antonio, where their only child (Kenneth Lane Koester) was born. She enjoyed crocheting and reading until she was overcome by arthritis and vision degradation. She called home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 12, 2024. Survived by Son & Caregiver-in-chief-daughter-in-law Shona, Grandsons Keith & Jeff, and great-granddaughters Katelyn & Elyssa Koester. Rest in Peace, Devoted Wife & Mother. |
