Arman F Prescott Sr, of Houston TX, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2020, at the age of 80.
Arman was born in Houston on May 8, 1939. He attended Stephen F Austin HS in Houston and graduated from Brazosport HS in Freeport TX in 1957. He then went on to study accounting at the University of Houston where he was also a member of the initial swim team. On Aug 5, 1961, he married Sheila Volkening, and they resided in Houston. They moved to Jersey Village in 1972 and then to Bellville later in life. Arman is remembered as a humble and loving man. He served many through his businesses, Action Bookkeeping (Houston) and Prescott Tax Service (Bellville). He presided as president of the Texas Association of Public Accountants (TAPA) during its years of growth. Arman took an active role in his sons' lives as a Little League and soccer coach, scout and band volunteer, bowling companion, and mentor. An avid fan of many sports, Arman could often be found watching UH, Texans, Astros, Rockets and Dynamos games. Arman is survived by wife Sheila; son and daughter-in-law Arman Jr. & Donna; son Michael; grandchildren Ashely, Brittany, Alex, Lauren and Amber; brother Neal, sister Patty, and many cousins. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Foster and Elsie Skrabanek Prescott. A private family service will be held on Friday, April 24, 2020. A memorial service will be held at a later date after the stay-at-home order is lifted.
