Anastasios (Tasos) Lemonudas, 66, was born October 3, 1954, in Samothraki, Greece, the son of Dimitrios and Filio Asdrania Lemonoudas; he grew up and attended school in Greece.
In 1973, he followed his dream and relocated to the United States and made his home in the Houston and Katy area. Tasos was united in marriage to Anita Davila Lemonudas on June 21, 1980 and enjoyed over 40 years of marriage. Tasos enjoyed fishing, barbecuing, and watching his beloved Texans and Rockets win or lose. But nothing was more important to him than spending time with his family. Tasos was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021, at a Katy Hospital. Tasos is survived by his wife, Anita Lemonudas of Katy; daughter, Dimitrula Velez of Katy; sons, Kostas and Dimitri of Katy; granddaughters, Iliana and Soraya Velez of Katy; brothers, Dimos and wife, Freideriki Lemonoudas, Kostas and wife, Ourania Lemonoudas, Vasilis and wife, Thasoula Lemonoudas, Giannis and wife, Dina Lemonoudas; sisters, Kitsa and husband, Giannis Koletsas, and Maria Lemonoudas of Greece; and numerous other relatives and friends. Tasos is preceded in death by his parents, Dimitrios and Filio Lemonoudas. Special Thanks to Eleftherios Palamoytis and Jose Joel Velez. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, February 26, 2021, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Knesek Bros. Funeral Chapel, 768 Fourth Street, Sealy, Texas. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM. Burial will be in Sealy Cemetery. Due to Covid restrictions, masks and social distancing will be required. Pallbearers are Jason Davila, Eric Pulido, Pat Fletcher, Chet Schneider, Robert Gonzales, and Josh Schneider. |
