David Ray Buchtien of Katy, Texas was born to Leslie and Erna Buchtien of Sealy, Texas on October 27, 1961 and passed away on Friday, June 3, 2016, at the age of 54.
David attended school at Sealy Elementary School and went on to graduate from Sealy High School. David worked as an auto-mechanic at Mac Haik Ford of Houston for the majority of his adult life. David loved being outdoors; he loved to fish and water ski at his property in Somerville. When David was younger, he enjoyed traveling, skydiving, and riding dirt bikes, amongst other things. David was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Erna Mae Buchtien; his grandparents, Herman and Louise Buchtien, and Micager and Erna Shelburne; along with numerous uncles and aunts. David is survived by his brother, Douglas Buchtien and wife, Debbie; his sister, Kay Ann Noska; one aunt, Emalyn Buchtien; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and great-nephews and nieces. Pallbearers will be Ronald Buchtien, Michael Buchtien, John Noska, Vinny Bratton, Christopher Buchtien, and Kobe Lunsford. Elijah Noska will serve as an honorary pallbearer. A visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2016, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Knesek Funeral Home in Sealy, Texas. A funeral service will be held at Knesek Funeral Home on Friday, June 10, 2016, at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at the Sealy Cemetery. |
