Edward Nobra, 85, of Fayetteville, Texas, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2014.
Edward was born in Bremond, Texas on July 18, 1929, the son of Joseph and Verna (Mikolajewski) Nobra. He married Bernice Dockal on January 17, 1970. Edward served in the U.S. Air Force. He worked as a Transportation Manager at Curtin Matheson Scientific in Houston, Texas and retired in 1995. He enjoyed being a rancher and hunter. Edward was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Industry, Texas. He is survived by wife, Bernice, of 44 years; son, Jay Nobra and wife, Jennifer, of College Station, TX; daughter, Patricia Rabb and husband, Thomas, of Shelby, TX; son, Dale Rudloff of Conroe, TX; sister, Bernice Pierson of Ft. Worth, TX; brother, Daniel Nobra and wife, Phyllis of Cypress, TX; nine grandchildren: Bailey Nobra; Jackson Nobra; Stephanie Engstrom and husband Rudy; Rebecca Wooten and husband, Shawn; Michelle Etzel and husband, Clint; Stephen Rabb; Natalie Rudloff; Brandon Rudloff and wife, Karen; Brian Rudloff and wife, Meredyth; five great grandchildren: Dylan Haverlah, and wife Mindy; Kaitlin Haverlah, Weston Haverlah, Lillie Wooten and Olivia Etzel; great great granddaughter, Brailee Haverlah; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held at Koenig & Strickland Zaskoda Chapel, 2280 Main St., Industry, Texas. Funeral Services will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, in Industry, Texas. Burial will follow at Shelby Cemetery.
