Alvin Joe "Coach Al" Blazek passed away Sunday, May 27, 2007, following a lengthy illness. He is survived by his wife, Jackie Blazek; his daughters, Paula Lanier, and husband, Michael, and Pam Puig and husband, Richard; and granddaughters: Alyson Lanier and Emily Puig. Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at Knesek & Sons Funeral Home in Wallis. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Wallis. For those wishing, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Hospice of South Texas in Hallettsville, the Alzheimer's Association, or to a charity of choice. Services are under the direction of Knesek & Sons Funeral Home, 122 N. FM 1093 in Wallis. |
