Services for Johnny Jovan Schuknecht, 66, of Pattison, were held Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2006, in the Memorial Lutheran Church in Katy, with Pastor Erik Stadler officiating. Interment followed in Cat Spring Cemetery, Cat Spring, Austin Co., TX. He was born June 18, 1939 in Petty, Tx., to Johnny and Gertrude Scheffel Schuknecht. He died Saturday, Feb. 11, 2006, in Katy. He was a member of the Memorial Lutheran Church. He married Carol Schaer on September 25, 1962 in Houston, Tx. He was retired from Lubrications System. He was preceded in death by his father and three sisters. Survivors include his wife, Carol of Pattison; two sons, Johnny Jovan Schuknecht and his wife, Louanne of Somerset, and Carl Wesley Schuknecht and his wife Pamella, of Cat Spring; one daughter, Trudy Lou Bubela and her husband, Glen of Danevang; his mother Gertrude Schuknecht, of Tahoka, two brothers; David Schuknecht and his wife, Cathy, of Wolforth, and Dewayne Schuknecht and his wife Donna, of Tahoka; three grandchildren, Nickey Schuknecht, Sarah and Alex Bubela, and one great grandson, Dakota Garcia.
