2021
George William Einkauf was born January 27, 1940 and grew up in Weimer and Sealy, Texas. He graduated from Sealy High School and attended Blinn College for two years with a degree in business. He married the love of his life, Glennette Dorine Einkauf, and shared many great years and memories together. George was a professional machinist working for Texas Metal and Fabrication Companies. He was employed by Cameron Iron Works, was a top-grade machinist, and was assigned to several high-priority projects. George was often referred to by co-workers and people who knew him "as the hardest working guy they knew."
George was an avid fisherman and loved to hunt. He also loved farming and ranching. Woodrow Einkauf, George's Dad, would always say that George was the best son I have. Anyone who knew George knew he was a kind and gentle soul until you made him mad. He was always willing to help anyone in need, and he would give the shirt off of his back to help anyone. He was a wonderful dad, brother, uncle, and friend to many. George was preceded by his loving wife, Glennette Einkauf; great-grandfather, George Einkauf; grandfather, George Einkauf; father, Woodrow Einkauf; mother, Clara Walters Shafer; brother, Woodrow Einkauf; brother, Donald Einkauf; stepdaughter, Elizabeth Null; and grandmother, Alma Einkauf. Survived by brother, Clarence Einkauf and wife, Rose; daughter, Alena Null; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2021, from 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM at Knesek Bros. Funeral Chapel, 768 Fourth Street, Sealy, Texas, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Burial will be in Sealy Cemetery. Due to Covid restrictions, masks and social distancing will be required. |
