Funeral services for Eddie C. Svinky, 90, of Sealy, Texas, Tuesday, February 16, 2016, at 10:00 am from Trinity Lutheran Church in Sealy, with Rev. Ken Bersche officiating. Interment in the Sealy Cemetery. Pallbearers: Michael Svinky, Mathew Svinky, Ronnie Holub, Brandon White, Billy Eaton, and Scott Haverland.
On February 13, 2016, Eddie Charles Svinky went to be with the Lord. He passed away peacefully in his sleep at Colonial Belle in Sealy after reaching the age of 90. He was born and raised in Frydek and attended St. Mary's Catholic School for 11 years. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Sealy where visitation was held on Monday night. Eddie was a heavy equipment operator for Duval Sulfur for 10 years, Brown and Root for 2 years, and Austin County for 25 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe, Sr. and Julie Tallas Svinky; siblings, Bill, Joe, Richard Svinky, and Julie Hintz; his children, Edward, Ricky, and Charles Svinky, and Caroline Faye White. He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Shirley J. Hoek Svinky; son, Eddie A. Svinky and wife, Charlotte; daughter, Shirley R. LeJeune and husband, Gerald; grandchildren, Michael and Mathew Svinky, Brandon White, Brittany Eaton, Kim Dubose, and Clayton Roulston; great-grandchildren, Hattie, Brady, Charlie, Dean, and Kylee.
