Lucy Ann Compton Trammel, Ms. Ann, as most people knew her, was called home on October 23, 2022 in Pasadena, Texas. She was born in Seabrook, Texas, on November 20, 1941 to parents Carson and Lucille Compton. She graduated on May 26, 1960 from Pasadena High School. Miss Ann Compton was joined in marriage to Mr. Jimmy "Jim" Trammel on January 20, 1961, in a ceremony held in Pasadena, Texas. They made their home in Pasadena and raised their two children there. Ann worked as an assembly line worker for Mark Products for 35 years. Jim and Ann moved to Sealy to enjoy country life. She had found hope in Christ early in life but grew closer to Christ after moving to Sealy. She was a member of the Parker Chapel AME, serving the church in many roles. She enjoyed life, family, and friends to the fullest until being called Home.
She is survived by her children, daughter, Sonia Emmons and husband, Paul, of Pasadena, grandson, Audy Trammel, son, Jimmy A Trammel and wife, Lisa, of Tomball, granddaughter, Tiffani McGuire and husband, John, great-grandsons, Hadin and Cole Blaine, and granddaughter, Ashley Patterson, great-granddaughter Makenzie Patterson; and brother, Robert Compton of Sealy and loving niece, Carol Worthington and husband, Larry, of Wichita Falls, Texas. Plus, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Jim Trammel; parents, Carson and Lucille Compton; sister, Patricia Singletary; brother, Kitchell "Kit" Compton; and beloved sisters and brothers-in-law. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, October 28, 2022, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Parker Chapel AME Church, 21107 Hwy 36 West, Sealy, Tx 77447. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 30, 2022, at Knesek Family Funeral Chapel, 842 E. Main Street, Bellville, Texas 77418. Burial will be in Sealy Cemetery. |
