MARY KATHERINE was born August 16, 1945, Bossier City, Louisiana to Sam Marshall and Mattie Mae Thomas. All her schooling was in Louisiana. Katherine moved to the Houston area in the 1960’s and united with Barbers Memorial Missionary Baptist Church. KATHERINE was employed with Kroger’s for 33 years retiring in September 2015. She recently came out of retirement to return back to Kroger’s to work part-time.
Katherine is preceded in death by both Mother, Father and her five Brothers. She leaves to cherish her memory five daughters Ronita Pryor (Billy), Wanda McCoy (Rickey), Bridgett Smith(Terrence), Sharon Williams, Amanda Johnson (Michael) and son Harvey Loggin (Shemika), Three brothers, Roosevelt Brown (Alice), Bobby Thomas (Genell), and Milton Thomas, three sisters Virginia Taylor, Maxine Delce-Gilliard and Joyce Marie Edwards, three special sisters Rachelle Denson, Gladys Mitchell and Consuello Jones-Mitchell, thirteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews and friends. She will be truly missed. |
