The lovely Barbara Lauhoff Vornkahl, a long-time Houston resident, passed away on April 29, 2015, after a lengthy illness. She was 83. She had a vibrant spirit and a positive attitude throughout her life. She dearly loved her family, especially her husband of 63 years, Henry Lee Vornkahl, who survives her. She is also survived by her three children, Greg Vornkahl and wife Marilyn; Mark Vornkahl and wife Karen; and Susan Vornkahl Paige and husband Hilliard Paige, Jr., as well as six cherished grandchildren. She leaves behind her sister Rita Lauhoff Davis, her brother Tony Lauhoff and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 16, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Memorial Lutheran Church at 14200 Memorial Drive, Houston. Posted by Bruce White |
