Allen Ray Toman, 53, of Bellville passed away on Nov. 6, 2014, following a very brief battle with cancer. He was born on Nov. 15, 1960 to Ruby (Schiller) Toman and JJ “Buck” Toman, Sr in Bellville. After attending school in Bellville, Allen spent many years working in the oilfield on both work-over rigs and drilling rigs. Allen enjoyed fishing on the river, playing dominoes, cooking, woodwork, welding, and just life in general. Allen was preceded in death by his parents JJ “Buck” Toman, Sr., Ruby Schiller Toman Beathard, step-dad Lloyd Beathard, brother Gary Toman, brother-in-law Russell Heinlen, grandparents and great-grandparents. Allen is survived by 3 sisters Karen Heinlen of Bellville, Glenda Druckhammer and husband Gilbert of Navasota, Kim Miranda and husband Mike of Kansas City, MO., 3 brothers Glen Toman and wife Janice of Bellville, Dale Toman and wife Kathryn of Bellville, and Julius J “Bubba” Toman and companion, William of Shelby, nieces, Melissa Burke, Mandy Bailey and Jacquelyn Toman, nephews John Jasek, Jason Druckhammer, and Drew Toman, along with numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and many, many friends. Allen is also survived by very close friends Wesley Dees and wife, Monica, along with their children Parker and Grayson; and Wesley’s father, Wally Dees. Memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Retreat, American Cancer Society, or a charity of your choice. A memorial celebrating the life of Allen Ray Toman will be held on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014 from 1-4 p.m. at the St. John Lutheran Retreat located at 4740 Highway 36 North-Bellville.
