Linda Stevens, age 67 of Brenham, passed away Monday, Jan. 6, 2014. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, January 11 in Brenham Memorial Chapel with Rev. Karen Nelson officiating. Linda was born Sept. 4, 1946 in Wartrace, TN to Hollis and May (Freemann) Bell. Linda was a founding member of Bellville Hospital Auxiliary, managed an antique shop, a Vitamin Store and Payless shoe store. Her mentorship was with Texas A&M students who were involved with Hospice Care education. Linda was preceded in death by her Parents as well as her sister Polly and brother Maurice. Loving family includes her sons Billy Stevens (wife Staci) of Argyle, Craig Stevens (wife Sandy) of Katy and Richard Stevens of Austin; 4 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brother Tommy Bell of Lufkin; brother Larry Bell of Anderson and sister Janice of Rosebud. Memorials may be directed to Hospice Brazos Valley.
