Funeral Services for Marcus W. Steck, Jr., 80, of Bellville held from Knesek Bros. Hwy 36 Chapel, 1140 Meyer St. Sealy, Texas 77474 at 2 pm Wednesday, May 28, 2014 with Rev. Larry Beck officiating. Interment in the Sealy Cemetery. Visitation on Wednesday, May 28 from 1:00 pm until Service Time. Knesek Bros. Hwy 36 Chapel. Marcus was born in Sealy on Oct. 12, 1933 and passed away on May 22, 2014 in Brookshire. Marcus William Steck, Jr. was born to parents Marcus W. Steck and Norma Schroeder Steck. He was raised in Bellville and attended Bellville Schools. On May 6, 1972 he married the former Miss Jenna Jackson. Mr. Steck served our country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean conflict. He worked for many years for General Electric as a Machinist Fabricator before his retirement. Marcus was a member of Advent Lutheran Church. Survivors include his daughter, Melissa Anne Steck of Sealy, son, Jody William Steck and wife Lupita of Houston, step-daughter, Edie Harlow of Tomball, brother, Dean Steck of Bellville, grandchildren, Victoria Lissette Steck, Candice Fotsch and Stephen Netusil. He is preceded in death by his parents, Marcus and Norma Steck, wife, Jenna Steck, brothers, Eugene, Billy, Earl and Hover Steck.
