William Charles “Billy” Sliva of Orchard, Texas, passed away on March 9, 2023, in Orchard at the age of 69.
He was born in Richmond, Texas on January 27, 1954, to Willie C. and Geraldine Sliva. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Fannie Sager and Willie J. and Tillie Sliva. He is survived by his brother, Kenneth Sliva, and wife, Carrie, his sister, Sandra Teykl and husband, Frank, Niece, Jessica Gangl, and husband Aric, Nephews, Jason Sliva, Greg Adams and Wife, Felicia, Brian Adams, and other great nieces and nephews. William was a 1972 graduate of Orchard High School. His lifetime career was farming and ranching with his dad and brother, Kenneth. He enjoyed hauling corn and milo to MG Feed in Weimer in his Peterbilt, which was his pride and joy. Visitation will be on March 16, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Knesek & Sons Funeral Home in Wallis, Texas. Funeral Service will be held directly after visitation at 10:00 a.m. at Knesek & Sons Funeral Home in Wallis, Texas. The burial will follow at Orchard Cemetery in Orchard, Texas. Meal to follow at Orchard Community Center.
