Idell Virginia Siegert was born Nov. 2, 1917, in Bellville and passed away on Jan. 20, 2013 at 95 years young. Idell is preceded in death by her parents August and Bettie Steck, her husband of 58 years Harold Howard Siegert that passed on Oct. 15, 1999, also her sisters Leila Belle Steck, Magdalene Maude Steck, and Hilda Marie Landrum. Idell is survived by her sister Lola May Cullum, Katy, daughter Linda Walden, Houston. her sons Glenn Siegert, The Woodlands, Kenneth Siegert, of Houston, 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandkids, and one great-great grandchild, host of nieces and nephews. Visitation for Idell was Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Services celebrating her life were Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013 in the Robert L. Waltrip Memorial Chapel at Texas Liberty Mausoleum at 11 a.m. Concluding services Idell was laid to rest in Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
