RAYMOND HENRY (RH) PRIESMEYER, 81, of Cat Spring, Texas, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2023.
He was born August 27, 1941, in Wesley, Texas, the son of Raymond Andrew and Olga Thielemann Priesmeyer. RH grew up and attended schools in the Bellville area, graduating from Bellville High School in 1959. He enlisted in the United States Navy and proudly served his country from 1959 until he was honorably discharged in 1962. RH was employed as a machinist supervisor in the oil and gas industry for 38 years. He was united in marriage to Betty Ann Froebel in Bellville, Texas, on October 30, 1964. They were active members of the St. John Lutheran Church, and he was a member of Bellville American Legion Post #115. In his spare time, RH enjoyed hunting, fishing, ranching and was an avid Astros fan. His love was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years: Betty Priesmeyer of Cat Spring; daughter: Beth Marie Prokop and her husband, Jeffrey, of Llano; son: Kevin Priesmeyer and his wife, Robin, of Hockley; grandchildren: Dillon Prokop, Ross Prokop, and Graham Prokop; all of Llano, Taylor Landefeld, and her husband, Chase, of Katy, Morgan Priesmeyer, and Paxton Priesmeyer of Hockley; stepsister: Gale Priesmeyer; stepbrother: Kenneth Priesmeyer; and numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. RH was preceded in death by his parents: Raymond and Olga Priesmeyer; stepmother: Viola Priesmeyer; and sister: Geneva Butler. Pallbearers are Bryce Froebel, Keith Froebel, Bradley Froebel, Thomas Froebel, Jeffrey Prokop, and David Butler.
