Herald Coaster, October 2, 1974:
Funeral services for Carl K. Brau, 80, of Richmond, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday from the Trinity Lutheran Church in Rosenberg, with Rev. Charles Surovik officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. He died Wednesday at Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital. He is a native of Bellville and a Fort Bend County farmer for most of his adult life. He is survived by his wife, Wilhemina Brau of Richmond; three daughters, Mrs. Wilhemina Clifton of Garrison, Tex., Mrs. Loyline Nawara of Needville, and Mrs. Ursula Prihoda of Richmond; three sons from Rosenberg, Adolph, Henry, and Carl; and nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Edvin Emshoff and Mrs. Agnes Henrichsen of Houston and Mrs. Lillie Holtz and Mrs. Hermina Lubojacky of Bellville. Friends may call by Garmany and Co. in Rosenberg after 2 p.m. today. |
