Funeral Service for Eddie Jackson
Sunrise: May 22, 1906 - Sunset: May 15, 1990 Eddie Jackson was born May 22, 1906 in Kenney, Austin County, Texas to Mr. Nathonal Eugene and Mrs. Mahalia Lott Jackson. He attended the public schools in Austin County. He was united to Silverda Washington on March 29, 1930. No children were born to this union. In the early forties he moved to Houston, Texas. He was employed by Uncle Johnny Mill and retired in the late sixties. He confessed a hope in Christ in August 1988 and united with Miracle Temple C.O.G.I.C. Rev. Robert Holt pastor. On Tuesday, May 15, 1990 the Lord called him to come home to be with him. No more pain or suffering for his troubles are over. He leaves as his survivors; his wife, a son, grandchildren, great grandchildren, four brothers, three sisters, a host of nieces and nephews, a countless number of relatives and friends. Funeral Service: Saturday, May 19, 1990, 12:30 p.m., Jackson Chapel A.M.E. Church, Kenney, Texas, Reverend Robert Holt, officiating. Pallbearers: Raymond Lockett, David Hubbard, Bryson Graves, Floyd Beal, Melvin Beal, and Travis Johnson. Interment: Kenney Cemetery, Kenney, Texas.
