Martin and Rosalie Sula Bogar came from Hovezi, now Czech Republic, with children, Paul and Anna. My mother and I visited some Bogar descendants, Hnatek's, who lived at the bottom of a hill, from the Church and Cemetery which is on top of a hill.
Rosina Sula & Martin Bogar are buried at St. Mary's Catholic Church Cemetery, Frydek, Austin County, Texas. They had children: Jan Bogar 1892-1946 m. 1. Annie Kutra 2. Karolina Rothbauer Joseph Bogar 1888-1937 buried Slezska, Czech Republic, m. Frantiska Gebczynska Paul Bogar 1899-1950 m. 1. Mary Gavranovic 2. Karolina Bogar Annie J. Bogar 1904-1964 m. Louis P. Machala 1903-1986 There were several other children which died young in Czech. Two sons, Jan & Josef had to stay in the Czech Republic to serve out their military service before they could come to Texas. Joseph came, but decided to go back, and he married there and had children, Jarmila 1923-1993 m. Rudy Babis, and another sister, Anna 1917-1978 m. Premysl Husk.
