Jocie E. Wright, 83, of Cypress, Texas passed away on Friday, January 11, 2013 in Tomball, Texas. She was born on March 18, 1929 to Troy and Mary Meador in Sweeney, Texas. For many years she was a cashier. She is survived by her daughters Bonnie Jean Skow of El Campo, Texas, and Glenda Price and husband Forrest of New Ulm, Texas. Son Glenn Wright, II and wife Sandi of Cypress, Texas. Sisters, Mary Ann Graue of Sweeney, Texas and Alice Lee Thurman of Shiner, Texas. Brothers Alvin Meador and wife Rosie of Alvin, Texas and James (Tubby) Meador and wife Gloria of Sweeney, Texas. Seven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. Jocie was preceded in death by her husband Glenn Irvin Wright, Sisters Betty Jo, and Martha, and brothers Gene, Johnny, and Bobby. Family received friends from 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013 until the service time. A funeral service was conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013 from the Knesek Bros Funeral Chapel, 842 East Main, Bellville, Texas with Rev. Dale Leland, officiating. Interment followed in the New Ulm Cemetery, New Ulm with Wesley Price, Jonas Leal, Josh Kourville, Forrest Bruno, Anthony Bruno and Vincent Bruno, serving as pallbearers.
