Glenn Dean Gross passed away on April 9th, 2015 at his home which he considered to be his heaven on earth. Sandra, his wife of 54 years who was the love of his life, was by his side along with his beloved children and their wives. Glenn was born on June 21, 1941 to Glenn and Florence Gross in La Grange Texas. He moved from Columbus, Texas to New Ulm, Texas as a young child. Glenn left New Ulm at the age of 18 and moved to Houston to work at the Saint Joe Paper Company. After his marriage to Sandra he started working at the family business, Blaschke Trucking for his father-in-law where he eventually became a partner alongside his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Larry and Sue Krueger and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Larry and Kay Gutowsky. Glenn has been a fixture at Blaschke Trucking for the past 54 years. He was preceded in death by his parents Glenn and Florence Gross, and his in-laws, Hugo and Julia Blaschke. Glenn is survived by his wife, Sandra Gross and their children, Darryl & Cyndie Gross of San Antonio, Darwin & Sheila Gross and Timothy & Randa Gross of Houston, brother Gary Gross & his wife Shirley of New Ulm, Grandchildren, Meagan Gross, Catherine Gross, Chandler Gross, Jessica Titman, Ashley & Joshua Hime; Special family friends Chuck, Paige and Mitch Liccioni of Houston and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial Service will be held at Industry United Methodist Church, Industry Texas, Sunday, April 19th at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family wishes donations to be made to Industry Methodist Church Prayer Garden, Hospice Brazos Valley or Bellville General Hospital or a charity of their choice.
