Louise Faye (Franke) Frank, 91, of Industry, passed away on Sept. 14, 2013 at High Hope Care Center in Brenham. Louise was born in Industry, on June 11, 1922, the daughter of the late Edward and Mary Elizabeth (Frier) Franke. She married Wilbert “Candy” Frank, Sr. on Aug. 25, 1939 in Bellville. Louise and her husband, Candy, owned and operated Frank’s Café when they first moved to Industry. They then owned and operated Frank’s Grocery in Industry. Louise also served as a private sitter at Colonial Bell Nursing Home for three years. She was a member of Industry United Methodist Church and Eastern Star Chapter 611 of Bellville. She is survived by one son, Wilbert “Bubba” Frank Jr. and wife, Debbie, of New Ulm; two daughters: Carol Frank Gilbert and husband, Melvin, of Houston and Dorothy Frank Gross and husband, Delroy, of Industry; sister, Almedia Bravenec of Houston; five grandchildren: Lisa Jones; Jason Frank; Christy Shelton and husband, Cody; Dwayne Gross and wife, Emily and Dustin Gross; two step grandchildren: Kley Brokmeyer and Cody Brokmeyer and wife, Gail; nine great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters: Laura Pavlovski and Norma Franke; three brothers: Monroe, Erwin and Arthur Franke. Visitation was Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013 from 2-8 p.m. at Koenig & Strickland Zaskoda Chapel, 2280 Main St., Industry. Family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Funeral Services was at Industry United Methodist Church at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2013. Burial followed at Oak Knoll Cemetery in Bellville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Industry United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 86, Industry, TX 78944; Hospice Brazos Valley, 302 E. Blue Bell Rd, Brenham, TX 77833; or a charity of one’s choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Koenig & Strickland Funeral Home, 208 W. Pearl, La Grange, Texas.
