Funeral Services for Emil H. Frank, Jr. 82, of Alvin, Texas (formerly of Bellville) were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9, 1997 from Knesek Bros./Etlinger Funeral Chapel in Bellville with the Rev. Roy Biser officiating. Interment was in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Marc Frank, Tim Ayers, Wayne Schomburg, Mel Tarwater, Weldon Frank, and Fred Deitrich. Mr. Emil Henry Frank, Jr., was born Feb. 17, 1915 in Nelsonville, Texas, the son of Emil H. Frank, Sr. and Malita Woehst Frank. He was raised in Bellville and attended the Piney Creek School, but resided in LaMarque, Texas for 45 years until moving to Alvin. In 1940, Emil and the former Miss Etta Mae Zander were married in Bellville, she preceded him in death in 1983. On March 31, 1993, Mr. Frank and the former Miss Jeanette Schiller were married in Santa Fe, Texas. Mr. Frank was a Methodist and was retired with 40 years service from Houston Lighting and Power Company where he was a trouble shooter. Mr. Emil Henry Frank, Jr. died Thursday, Nov. 6, 1997 at his residence in Alvin, Texas. Survived by his wife Jeanette of Alvin, her daughter and husband, Theresa and Ronald Ramirez, also of Alvin; his son and daughter-in-law, Jerry Lee and Mary Jane Frank of LaMarque, his sister, Grace Barrineau of Houston; his brothers, Roger Frank of Hot Springs Village, Ark., Robert Frank of Mineral Wells, Texas; randson, Marc Frank of LaMarque; granddaughter, Julie Ayers and husband Tim of Houston, and 6 great grand-children. Preceding him in death were his parents, Emil and Malita Frank; brothers, Leroy Frank, William H. Frank, and first wife Etta Mae Zander Frank.
