Bellville, Texas, August 5 - Mrs. Bettie Brewer, wife of William Brewer of the Kenney neighborhood, was interred at the Pier cemetery, near this place at 4 o'clock this afternoon. She was 72 years old at the time of her death, and had spent more than half a century in Austin county. She was connected with many of the best families of this section of the country.
