Earnest Cooper, Sr. was born to Willie Daisy and Lee Howard Cooper in New Ulm, Texas, July 4, 1946. He traveled home to join our ancestors in glory September 14, 2012.
The last born of eight, Earnest enjoyed a life filled with family friends, and love. He was a man that enjoyed making things beautiful. He mastered the art of landscaping and making people laugh. He was always ready with a smile and a funny story. Earnest is preceded in death by his mother, father and brother, Leroy “Shorty” Cooper. He is survived by son, Earnest Cooper, Jr. of Salt Lake City, Utah; sisters, Florence Jackson of Conroe, Texas and Willie Ann Cooper and Shirley Cooper, both of Houston, Texas; brothers, Antone Cooper (wife, Rosie Mae) of Sealy, Texas, Johnnie Cooper of Bellville, Texas and Tommie “Tomcat” Cooper (wife, Esther) of Sealy, Texas; and a host of extended family members and friends. |
