Another old Texan gone. Mr. Thomas Cochrane, of Austin County, died at his residence near Buckhorn last Monday morning. Mr. C. was a Texas veteran and well known throughout the state. He was sick but a short time, eating a hearty supper Friday night after a ride on the Prairie during the day. Few men ever left fewer enemies or more friends behind him. He was loved and respected by all who knew him.
