2023
Aaron Wayne Carter, 46, beloved father, grandfather, son, and brother, died unexpectedly of natural causes on Jan. 17, 2023, in Houston, Texas.
Born in Jackson, Mississippi, on Feb. 18, 1976, Aaron was a rambunctious, sweet little boy. He lived in Mississippi until his family relocated to Texas. Aaron spent most of his childhood in Sealy, Texas. He was a talented artist who loved drawing and woodworking. He played football throughout junior high and high school and was a defensive end on the 1994 and 1995 Sealy Tigers state championship football team. He graduated from Sealy High School in 1996. He married twice and had four children that he loved above all else. Most recently, Aaron lived in Bacliff, Texas, with his kids and their dog Bernie. They enjoyed spending time together, often playing video games late into the night. For nearly 16 years Aaron worked in South Houston for Water Treatment Services Inc. as a technician and warehouse manager. He excelled at his job and took great pride in understanding the complexities of the science involved in his work and providing exceptional service to his customers. Everyone who knew Aaron saw examples of his selflessness. He was quick to help anyone in need, and never asked for anything in return. Though he often seemed stoic, he loved to laugh, joke, and play pranks, especially on his kids. Above all, Aaron will be remembered for his grit, resilience, and love for his children. He overcame many challenges in his short life, but he always pushed forward, worked hard, and became a devoted father to his four kids. He is survived by his children, Elliott Carter of Bacliff, Logan Carter of Beasley, Texas, Calvin Carter and Layla Carter, both of Bacliff; grandson Elias Carter of Bay City, Texas; mother Sheryl Sens and husband Gary of Sealy; siblings Dana Lee and husband Tim of Friendswood, Texas; Jamie Manak and husband Jason of Sealy; and Jimmy Sell and wife Kristie of New Ulm, Texas; and countless nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss his huge heart and quick wit. Aaron is preceded in death by his grandparents Jeanine and Jerry Fontenot and Jim Positan. |
