Service for Dennis Earl Campbell, Jr. was Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013, 11 a.m.. at Bellville High School, Bellville. The service was conducted by, Reverend Ray Dabney. Dennis Earl Campbell, Jr., “Lil D” was born on Oct. 13, 1992 to Dennis Earl Campbell, Sr. and Shemica Austin Campbell in Brenham, Washington County. “Lil “D” grew up on “Campbell Hill” in Sealy. “Lil” D attended public school in Sealy and in Katy. He graduated from high school in Katy in 2010. He was an outdoor person. He was an avid animal lover especially taking care of his pit bulls dogs. He loved hog hunting, trail riding and a love for cowboy and western music. One of “Lil D” passion was talking to people in person and on the cell phone. He never met a stranger. “Lil D’s” greatest passion was spending time with his family. Lil “D” loved his family especially his two sons, Da`Maryon and De`Veion. He accepted Christ as a child under the leadership of his uncle, Reverend Arthur Campbell. He was a hard worker; he worked at Acme Brick and at Masse Flange in Sealy and just had been employed with Country Waste management Company, Sealy. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, A.J. and Thelma Harris and great grand parents, Walter and Johnnie Mae Nunn and Walter and Lucille Campbell, two aunts; Erma Jean Crockett and Costella Miller, two uncles; Daniel Wayne Thomas and Raymond Nunn. Dennis is survived by his mother, Shemica Campbell, father, Dennis Earl Campbell, stepmother, Nicole Campbell, two sons; Da`Maryon and De`Veion Campbell, brothers; De`Andre and Devin Campbell, Marcos Martinez, Micha Rogers, Tre Harris and Jose Lizcano; two sisters; Tori Harris and Pamela Lizcano; grandparents; James and Dorothy Campbell, Cavalier Foster and Ruthie Austin; three aunts; Carolyn McDonald (Darryl), Rosalind Campbell and De`Andrea Godfrey; five uncles; Robert (Andi) Campbell, Arthur (Paulette) Campbell, Larry (Evelyn) Campbell, Carl Campbell and Christopher Austin.
