Carolyn Sue (Williams) Housley, 80, of Bellville, Texas, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2018, in Bellville. She was born December 4, 1937 in White Deer, Texas, the daughter of Everett James and Lorraine (Berry) Williams. Sue grew up and attended schools in White Deer, graduating from White Deer High School. She also graduated from Texas Tech University with her Bachelor's Degree and was employed as a teacher with Bellville Independent School District for over 40 years.

She was an active member of the Bellville United Methodist Church. Sue enjoyed attending and assisting with several different groups and functions such as the Walk to Emmaus, and welcoming people on Sunday mornings. Sue was a very special lady who loved giving Easter baskets and hanging her Christmas stockings. She was also known by many as a tough teacher but very well-loved by her students. Sue will be missed by everyone and there will be a void in the lives of many.

She is survived by her daughter, Teri Housley, and son, Todd Housley, both of Austin; and numerous cousins and a host of dear friends who she considered family.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, E.J. and Lorraine Williams.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 1, 2018, at Bellville United Methodist Church, 234 South Masonic Street, P.O. Box 188, Bellville, Texas 77418.
