Fred Andrew Landolt, 94 of Bellville, entered eternal rest on July 30, 2022. Fred was born March 1, 1928 to Martin Casper Landolt and Edna Andrews Landolt in Brown County, Texas. He was raised in Schwab City, Texas, attended Livingston Schools where he graduated in 1946.

After serving in the Army Air Corps, he and his wife, Vera Lea Westmorland Landolt, moved to Pasadena, Texas in November of 1949 where they raised their family. Then in 1978, Vera Lea passed away and in the early 80s, Fred married Dorothy. Fred worked at Shell Refinery in Deer Park from 1949 until March 1, 1986. After retiring, he and Dorothy moved to Bellville where he lived until his death.

He enjoyed fishing, water skiing, gardening, driving his tractors and raising cattle. He was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church of Brenham and served as a Deacon at the First Baptist Church of Bellville.

Fred is survived by his sons, Michael and wife, Carol, of Houston, and David and wife, Jaxie, of Jersey Village; daughter, Carol Eskew and husband, Gene, of Driftwood; grandchildren, Amanda Williams and husband, Ronnie, of Converse, Alison Landolt and fiancee, Alex, of Houston, Sarah Engleman and husband, Jeremy, of Dickinson, Christina Smith and husband, Jeremy, of Austin, Lane Eskew and wife, Candyce, of Buda, Justin Landolt and wife, Nichole, of Richmond, Travis Landolt of LaPorte, Joel Terry and wife, Amy, of Kingwood, and Marc Terry of Houston; great-grandchildren, Rowan, Caiden, Logan, Dylan, and Daisy Williams, Bethany and Isac Engleman, Carson Smith, Aspen and Almarie Eskew, Charlie Landolt, and Addison and Emerson Terry.

He was preceded in death by his wives, Vera Lea Westmorland Landolt (1978) and Dorothy Landolt (1999); son, Jerry Wayne Landolt (1952); and parents, Martin and Edna Landolt.

The family wishes to thank Ruben and Cerise Perez who were Fred's special neighbors and caregivers. Their caring allowed him to remain in his home until the time of his passing.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022, from 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM at Schmidt Funeral Home, 12029 Hwy. 36 South, Bellville, Texas, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.
