LIDIA FRANCISCA GARCIA CARLSON, 69, of Bellville, Texas, passed away at her home on Saturday, March 23, 2024.
She was born December 13, 1954, in Panama Canal Zone, the daughter of Eloy and Frances Colon Garcia. Lidia grew up in Kentucky and Illinois. After high school, she earned her bachelor’s degree. She was united in marriage to Max Carlson, on December 30, 1988, in Raton, New Mexico. They moved to San Marcos and in 2003 they made their home in Bellville. Lidia was a missionary nun, and her passion was singing. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband: Max Carlson of Bellville; son: Gregory Carlson of Bellville; stepdaughter: Carla Patrick of Mount Sterling, Illinois; stepsons: Christopher Carlson of San Antonio, Theodore Carlson of El Campo, and Charles Carlson of Houston; and numerous other family and dear friends. Lidia was preceded in death by her parents: Eloy and Frances Garcia. |
