Dorothy Brenner, 92, of Sealy, Texas, passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2024.

Dorothy was born June 13, 1931, in San Antonio, Texas, to Leo Albert and Margaret (Schmidt) Mechler. She grew up in San Antonio, graduating from Our Lady of the Lake High School. Dorothy lived in San Antonio, Houston, and San Marcos before making her home in Sealy, Texas. A homemaker, Dorothy found joy in taking care of and spending time with her family. After raising her family, she began a professional career. Dorothy had a passion for helping and caring for others her entire life. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sealy, Texas, and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. In her spare time, Dorothy enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and knitting.

She is survived by her daughters: Jane Blomberg and husband, Cliff, and Susan Miller; son: Michael Brenner and wife, Cindy; stepchildren: Nick Masciopinto, and Gina White and husband, Frank; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her first husband: Helmuth Brenner; second husband: Anthony Masciopinto; daughter: Cynthia Brenner; parents: Leo and Margaret Mechler; and brothers: Anthony Mechler and Leo Mechler.

Pallbearers are Andrew Blomberg, Patrick Blomberg, Christopher Blomberg, Ayden Blomberg, Gregory Miller, and Adam Miller.
