On November 6, 1943, in Kenney, Austin County, Texas, a baby was born to the late Richard and Nina Mae Kesee, they named him Floyd.
Floyd grew up and attended school in Kenney, Texas. From his youth, he acquired several nick names, to his family and friends, he was known as Beady, Log Man, and Wolf Man, however, he and his wife affectionately called each other, “Sweet”. As a youth, his ambition was to get an education, but unfortunately at the age of 15, he had to leave school and assume the responsibility of nurturer and provider to his family after his mother’s death and father’s injury. Although Floyd had many storms and a few setbacks in his life, he refused to give up on his dreams. On April 7, 1992, Floyd completed The Texas A&M University System’s Electronic Control Courses. On September 11, 1966, he married the love of his life, Ms. Jacquelyn Louise Moore. Three children were blessed to the union. Floyd was an accomplished carpenter, home builder and a machine repair mechanic. He was filled with the Holy Ghost and baptized in the name of Jesus in February of 1989 at Apostolic Faith Church in Brenham, Texas. His work in ministry began at Faith Temple of Brenham, Texas in 1999. He became an ordained and licensed minister at New Beginnings Church Inc. of Navasota, Texas on September 4, 2005. He was the pastor at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church of Caldwell, Texas for six years. He joined Back to God Revival Holiness of Bellville, Texas in 2022. Floyd was preceded in death by his parents; Richard Kesee and Nina Mae Adams Kesee, four brothers; Robert Kesee, Wilbert Kesee, Jefferson “Shay” Kesee and Norris Kesee. He leaves to cherish his loving memories, his wife; Jacquelyn Kesee, two daughters; Pamela Kesee, Regina Kesee, one son; Floyd Kesee Jr., two sisters; Patricia Harris, Carolyn Battles, one brother; Leon Watts, two grandchildren; Arian Benard, Stephen Josiah Galaviz and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving family and friends. |
