Joseph W. (Joe) Lizotte lost his battle with cancer on January 7, 2024, at the home he has lived in for 45 years peacefully with his family. He was born on March 19, 1946, to George Lizotte and Yolanda Pepitone Lizotte the youngest of seven children in Flushing, New York.
He married Patricia Daly and with their blended family in Bayside, New York. Joe worked for Steinway Transit for many years until he moved the family to Sealy, Texas to work for Metro Transit when Metro moved to Houston. He worked for them until he retired due to medical issues. His pastime was working on old tractors and raising Paint horses. He enjoyed his children, grandchildren, and great-grands. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Patricia (Pat), his children Peter Romano, wife Patrika, Lillian Romano Cupparo, husband John, Stacey Lizotte Selby, husband Rick, Joseph Lizotte Jr., and Harvest La France, his grandchildren Kala Mata, Nicholas Cupparo, wife Sennan, Daniel Cupparo and Abby Bullon, Rachel Cupparo and Hugo Blatke, Gino Ramano, wife Jakelyn, Luke Lizotte, wife Eleni, Tayah and Keanah Lizotte, Dominic Grant, Gavin, and Phillip Mc Mahon, and Jaxton La France, great-grandchildren Ty, Hydi, Stevie Raye, Jude Lizotte. He is also survived by two sisters-in-law Maria and Irma Lizotte and many loving nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, his five brothers, and his sister—also, his children Eugene Ramano and Jodi Lizotte Mc Mahon. He was loved and will be greatly missed.
