Amalia (Josie) Ceballos passed away on January 17, 2024. Josie was born to Abelardo Ceballos and Zulema Aguilar in Seguin Texas on July 17, 1965. She was raised and attended school in Bellville Texas. Josie worked as a cook at Colonial Bell Nursing Home and then later at Sweetbriar Nursing Home. After becoming a mother she dedicated her life to her two sons. Josie was the sweetest person with a heart of gold. She never denied any one help of any form if she had the means. She had friends everywhere. Josie was adored by her nieces and nephews. She never forgot a birthday and always gave little gifts just because. She enjoyed reading, cooking, baking and had just recently mentioned she wanted to take up crocheting. She never missed an episode of General Hospital or a Dallas Cowboy football game.

Josie was preceded in death by her parents Abelardo and Zulema, her niece and nephews Kimberly & Mike Trevino, Curtis Ceballos and her brother Gregorio Ceballos.

She is survived by her 2 sons Nicolas and Samuel Ceballos, her siblings Joe Ceballos, Jimmy and Karen Ceballos, Mary Juarez, Delfina and Noe Sanchez, Rafael Ceballos, Michelle Ceballos and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Friday, January 26, 2024, at Knesek Funeral Home.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 am

Funeral service will begin at @11:00 am. Followed by an interment at Oak Knoll Cemetery
