Sodolak, Cindy Kay
Obituary
2024
Cindy Kay Sodolak of Industry went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 9, 2024, at the age of 67. After a long battle with cancer, her fight came to an end. She is now at peace and pain-free. Cindy was born on January 15, 1957, in Bellville Texas. She was baptized and later confirmed. She went on to graduate from Sealy High School in 1975.

Her first job out of high school was at Pennzoil in Houston. She later decided to work at Palais Royal Clothing Store in Brenham for many years after she was blessed with two beautiful children Nathan and Stacey. Eventually, she left and took a job at Tre Chic Clothing Boutique. There she found a family bond with the employees. It was her happy place, along with gardening, playing pitch with her family, spending time with her fur baby Buddy, and going to her grandchildren’s events. You could find Cindy cheering on the Astros and Dallas Cowboys with the love of her life Garry Mathis. Cindy loved and forgave all. She had a true heart of gold.

Cindy is survived by her life partner of 30 years Garry Mathis, her son, Nathan Sodolak, and wife Erin, her daughter Stacey Kasberg, and husband Greg; her grandchildren, Presle Kasberg, Kaylyn Kasberg, Garrett Sodolak, and Lindsey Meier; sister-in-law’s, Donna Emshoff, and Mae Emshoff; numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her Father Elton W. Emshoff, Mother, Ruby L. Emshoff, Brother, Jerry W. Emshoff, and Brother Robert L. Emshoff.

A special thanks to Debra Taylor, Mabel Hall, and Joy Dell for their special loving arms and help during her last peaceful moments.
