Majewski, Tony
Obituary
2024
Tony passed March 29th, 2024, surrounded by his family after a battle with ALS. Tony was born in Houston, TX to parents Anthony and Maggie Majewski on November 27, 1946. He attended St. Theresa Catholic School, St. Pius, and San Jacinto High School.

In 1965 Tony met the love of his life, Judy Lambert. They married in 1968. Shortly after in January 1969, Tony was drafted into the United States Army. While serving his country, he reached Sharpshooter status with the M14 rifle and Expert status on the M16. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal before being honorably discharged.

After leaving Army life behind, Tony, Judy, and their young son Larry returned to Houston to start their new life. Tony was a talented welder by trade and began his career with Daniels Industry. Later he worked for Cameron Iron Works and then retired from Koch Industries in 2012.

Tony and his family moved to Bellville in 1980. He loved the country life! He enjoyed working with his cows, working on projects, and piddling in his shop. He volunteered with Bellville Little League and proudly coached his son and other young men. He enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren play sports and even traveled as far as Cooperstown, NY to watch them play. He was a great cook, master of the pit, and could be found most holidays grilling ribs and chicken. Tony also enjoyed hunting and passed that love to his son and grandchildren. He loved and treasured his family and passed down to them a strong work ethic and the importance of details.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents Anthony and Maggie Majewski, in-laws Dewitt and Evelyn Lambert, brother-in-law James Lambert, nephew Brian Lambert, and niece Dana Brzozowski.
