Arthalia then went to work for Wilson Industries in the accounting department from 1948 to 1953 where she met and later married her husband, Otis Ueckert, on March 15, 1950. From 1953 to 1978, she was a stay-at-home mom and homemaker.

In 1978, Arthalia went to work for L.D. Brinkman Wholesale Flooring Distributor in Houston and remained there until retiring at the age of 76 in 2000. She moved to Bellville to be closer to her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, trying new recipes, reading, and any time she could spend with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Arthalia is survived by her two sons, Dean Allen Ueckert and wife, Melanie, of Bellville, and Mark Edwin Ueckert and wife, Shirley, of Bellville; grandchildren, Sam Ueckert of Austin, Lee Ueckert and wife, Allison, of Austin, Brian Ueckert of Cypress, and Jake Ueckert of Bellville, great-grandchildren, Kian, Eris, Lane, Levi, and Luke of Austin. She was preceded in death by her parents, Garnett Frazier and Corene Benignus Frazier; former husband, Otis Ueckert; daughter, Cynthia Ueckert; and many cousins.

When she was in the hospital, she was asked what she wanted to be called; she replied "Grandma" and when asked what brought her joy, she replied, "her family". Arthalia was always available to any family member who needed her.

Visitation was held at 5:00 pm. Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at Knesek Family Funeral Chapel. A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 8, 2021, at 10:00 am. with Pastor John Reasons officiating.
