Harry R. Seyer was born September 20, 1911 in Peters, Texas and passed away July 10, 2006 in Webster, Texas. He was a former resident of Pasadena and Friendswood, Texas. He retired from Entex (Center Point today) in 1976 after thirty-nine years of service. Many of those years he was Transportation Supervisor for the Houston area. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Seyer, and his brothers, Roy Seyer and Clint Seyer. He is survived by his daughter, Martha Bourgeois, and son-in-law, Larry Bourgeois, of Friendswood, Texas; grandson, Richard Bourgeois and wife, Linda Pace, of Ellicot City, Maryland; and his sister, Almeda Kirby of Orange, Texas. Other survivors include several nieces, nephews, their families, and many friends. The visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, July 13, 2006, at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home in Friendswood, Texas. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Friday, July 14, 2006, at the Sealy Cemetery in Sealy, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to The Houston Food Bank, 3811 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77026-3213, or online at www.houstonfoodbank.org.
