Mrs. Leonard (Helen) Hintz, 99, passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord and Savior early Thursday morning. She passed away at Spanish Meadows Nursing Home in Katy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester McGuire and Jesse Raymond McGuire; husband, Leonard Hintz; and sister, Mae Peterson. She is survived by her daughter, Jane Hurst and husband, Billy, of Brookshire; grandchildren, Tammy Owens and husband, John, Jason Franz and wife, Tammy, Barrett Franz and wife, Debbie; great-grandchildren, Jacob Franz, Carson Owens, Coleman Franz, Jamicyn Franz, Saundie Franz, Landa Owens, and Jaycie Franz; and several nieces and nephews. Memorials: First United Methodist Church, 200 Atchison, Sealy, Texas 77474. The family wishes to thank the staff at Colonial Belle Nursing Facility in Sealy and the staff at Spanish Meadows Nursing Facility in Katy. Funeral services are at 3:30 pm Sunday, April 21, 2013, at Knesek Bros. Hwy 36 Chapel, 1140 Meyer St./Hwy 36, in Sealy, with visitation from 2:00 pm until service time.
