"Mr. Will Bottler, accompanied by his mother, left yesterday afternoon for Sealy, where he is to be married this afternoon to Mrs. E. B. Lemon of that place. The bride is a very popular member of Sealy society, and the groom is one of Houston's young business men. The couple will go to Chicago for the honey moon and will be at home to their friends after June 1." [Houston newspaper]

"Married - April 25, 1893, 7 p.m., Mrs. Bettie Lemon was happily joined in marriage to Mr. William Bottler of Houston. The ceremony took place at the residence of Mrs. Morris, the bride's mother, Rev. Blackwood officiating. The marriage was private, only the relatives of the bride and groom being present. The happy couple took the northbound vestibule train for Chicago to attend the World's Fair. The News joins their many friends in wishing them all anticipated happiness."
