Funeral services for Jubal Earl Bolten, 73, of Millheim, Texas were held Friday, Jan. 11, 2008 at 1 p.m. from Knesek Bros. Funeral Chapel in Bellville with the Rev. Tim Bucek, officiating. Burial was in Millheim Cemetery in Millheim. Serving as pallbearers were Kevin Sanders, Mark Whidden, Johnny Smith, Billy Ordner, Glenn Mai, Dwayne Reed, Jerry Reed, and Gary Frenzel. Honorary pallbearers were Ellis Steinhauser, Max Mai, Marvin Smith, Nathan Savoy, and James Smith. Jubal was born in Bellville, the son of Walter and Lydia Mueller Bolten. He grew up in the Millheim community and attended school in Bellville. Jubal served his country being honorably discharged from the United States Army. He worked as a foremen in the metal fabrication industry and as yardman and driver for Vincik's Building Supply until his retirement. Jubal loved watching his grandchildren play in his yard, NASCAR racing and mowing his yard. Jubal Earl Bolten passed away Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2008 in Millheim. Jubal is survived by his daughter, Kathy Feland and husband Michael in Millheim, sons, Gerald Bolten and wife Linda of Wharton, Glenn Bolten of Millheim and Roger Bolten of Millheim, mother of his children, Ellanore Bolten of Sealy, sister Dessie Steinhauser and husband Ellis of Altair, Iona Dolejsi of Wallis and Neely Dolejsi of Pinehurst, grandchildren, Savanna Bolten, Taylor Feland, Kaylie Feland, Nicole Bolten, Shaun Bolten, Virginia Pelling, Stacy Pelling, and Jennifer Pelling, great-grandchildren, Richard Pelling and John King, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and special friend Carmen Lopez. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Lydia Bolten, sister, Jeanette Bolten, brother, Elmo Bolten, uncle and aunt, Herbert and adela Bolten and first wife, Irene Smith Bolten.
