Rose Mary (Campo) Ulrich passed away peacefully at home in Bellville on Wednesday May 21 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born Oct. 22, 1928 in Houston. She attended Immaculate Conception School, Deady Junior High and graduated from Milby High School.

Rose married Bernard William Ulrich on July 24, 1948. Together they gave their daughters, Marie and Jeanette, a wonderful life.

She retired from the City of Houston as a construction estimator. Rose moved to Bellville in 1996 and was a member of St. Mary’s (Brenham) Altar and Rosary Society, and a member of the Bellville Hospital Auxiliary, volunteering at both the hospital and its resale shop.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Bernard Ulrich; her parents, Sam and Marie Campo of Houston, and brother Vincent J. Campo of Pearland.

She is survived by daughters Marie Pousson and Jeanette Willis, sons-in-law Joe Pousson and David Willis; grandchildren Amy, Erin, Brian, Daniel and Sarah, great grandsons Owen and Marcus; sisters Frances Bailey of San Antonio and Virginia Freitag of Houston; sisters-in-law Anna Campo, Joyce Ulrich and Shirley Duke; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral arrangements through Knesek Funeral Home, Bellville. Visitation from 5-7 p.m. with rosary to follow at 7 p.m. on Sunday, May 25, and Mass of Resurrection at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Houstonon Monday May 26 at 10 am. Burial at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, Houston.

The family requests that memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or a charity of your choice, as giving was Rose Ulrich’s number one priority.
