Hazel Ruth Steglich, 90, of Paige, Texas, passed away March 17 in Regent Care Center of The Woodlands. She was born in Millheim, Texas, Oct. 9, 1923. Hazel graduated from Sealy High School in 1941. She is preceded in death by her husband Monroe Steglich, parents Oscar and Roxey Albert Goebel, son-in-law John Huntsman, grandson Jason Huntsman and brother Sydney Goebel. Survivors are children Nancy Tripp an husband Mike of Santa Fe, Texas, Sandra Huntsman of Simpsonville, S.C., Marshall Steglich and wife Doreen of The Woodlands and sister Nettie Swearingen of Sealy, seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Serbin on Friday, March 21, at 10 a.m. Posted by Joy Neely |
