Patsy Louise Roose, of Bellville and formerly of Buffalo, was born on Sept. 25, 1932 in Wichita Falls. Her parents were Cecil and Izola Emily (Walker) Hinsley She worked as an insurance adjustor with AllState Insurance Company and enjoyed quilting. Patsy was married to her husband, Kenneth Roose, for sixty-two years. They had three children together. She had lived in Buffalo for 26 years before moving to Bellville after her husband’s passing. Patsy was a member of the New Apostolic Church in Killeen. She passed away on May 25, 2014 in Katy. Patsy was preceded in death by both of her parents; husband, Kenneth Eugene Roose and brother, Maxwell Hinsley. Surviving family members include children, Ronald Eugene Roose and wife, Robin, of Katy, Richard Edward Roose and wife, Becky, of Deer Park and Barbara Ann Cox and husband, James, of Kerrville; sisters, Doris Ashford of Houston and Jerry Hardy of Bellville; grandchildren, Kristin Logan, Kara Schaider, Robert Roose, Chris Goss, Ben Goss, Shawn Roose and Derek Roose and great grandchildren, Brinnley Roose, Kennedy Schaider, Brecken Roose, Kathryn Goss, Daly Schaider andIsabella Roose. Memorial services for Patsy Roose will be held at 2 p.m.., Saturday, June 7, 2014 at the Walters’ Buffalo Funeral Home in Buffalo, Texas.
