Funeral Rites for Mr. Pecha Ludwig V. Pecha, 70, of Rt. 1, west of La Grange, passed away Wednesday, June 2, 1976 at Fayette Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were set at 10 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. Harry Mazurkiesicz and Msgr. John Hanacek officiating. Burial was in the La Grange City Cemetery.. Born at Fayetteville on Aug. 15, 1905, the deceased was a son of John J. and Veronica Jurek Pecha, and married Miss Sophie Mazac at Fayetteville on Dec. 8, 1931. He was a retired farmer, and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Surviving are his wife; three sisters, Mrs. John Hucek of Dallas, Mrs. Willie Williams of Houston and Mrs. Manfred Braun of La Grange; and two nephews, James Psencik of Houston and Johnny Psencik of Sealy. A family rosary was recited at the Koenig Funeral Home chapel Wednesday night and parish and K. of C. rosaries were for 8 p.m. on Thursday. Submitted by Verna W. McDowell |
