Theresa D. Nowak, 95, passed away on March 5, 2023, in Sealy, Texas. She was born to Mike and Annie Drymala in Orchard, Texas on September 23, 1927. She married Floyd J. Nowak in Wallis, Texas on May 26, 1946.
A talented seamstress, Theresa specialized in interior decorating and custom draperies. Her hobbies included fabric weaving, doll making, and travel. Theresa was preceded in death by her husband Floyd, brothers Felix and Florian, and sisters Helen, Ann, Mary, and Dolores. She is survived by brother Joe in Comfort, TX, sons Donald (Sally) of Katy, Gary (Wanda) of Richmond, TX, daughter Michele Dossey (Mark) of Bishop, CA, and former daughter-in-law Margaret Gautrueaux. Left to treasure her memory is 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. A Rosary Service will be held on Thursday, March 9, at 7 P.M. at Knesek Bros. Funeral Chapel in Sealy, TX. A Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 10, at 1:30 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sealy, TX.
